The Crowne Plaza Universal opened on June 17, 2002 and is now a very
popular hotel. Located on Universal Boulevard, just a quick walk from
Orlando's world renowned International Drive, this spectacular property
soars 15 stories into the Florida sunshine.
The hotel is comprised of two distinctive elements. The Crowne Wing houses
the conference center and most of the guest rooms. The Atrium Tower features
guest rooms and suites arranged around a breathtaking circular atrium
that leaps from ground floor to sky dome 15 floors up. High-speed glass
elevators that face the expanse of the atrium serve the Atrium Tower guest
rooms, suites and Presidential Suite. Cancellation recieved with 5 days
of arrival date will access a one night room and tax charge.

The Crowne Plaza Universal's spacious fitness center offers his and her's
locker/shower rooms and all new state of the art equipment. Hours of operation
from 7:00am - 11:00pm and facilities are offered complimentary to our
guests.
Meeting Facilities: The Crowne Plaza Universal is an
ideal host for small and mid-size meetings and conferences. Our "Crowne
Ballroom", located on the ground floor of the Crowne Wing, provides
4000 square feet of space. The ballroom can accommodate more than 450
theater-style, 220-classroom style or a fine dinner for 280. Other meeting
facilities include the Plaza Board Room, designed to seat ten to twelve
for directors or committee conferences and the Atrium Boardroom to accommodate
the smaller board meetings.
Transportation: Directions from Orlando International
Airport: Exit airport, take Toll Road 528 (Beeline Expressway) West to
exit #1, International Drive and make a right. Proceed 0.7 miles and make
a right turn onto Universal Boulevard. The Crowne Plaza - Universal will
on the left-hand side.
