Our Resort is named after our unique setting: an unspoiled ocean hammock. These elevated mounds of scrub oak and native brush create a natural barrier between the land and the area's indigenous coquina sand beaches. The area offers an abundance of wildlife and vegetation, including 400 different kinds of birds. As you bike along the Intracoastal Waterway or walk Ocean Hammock's two-and-a-half-mile long stretch of pristine beach, be on the lookout for dolphins, manatees, pelicans, snowy white and blue herons, ospreys, eagles, sandpipers and ibis. On our interior golf courses, you may spot deer, a fox, even a bobcat. And don't miss the inspiring pilgrimage of baby sea turtles, as they leave their protected nests and head for the Atlantic.

Located along the Intracoastal Waterway just steps from our 149-room Harborside Inn and the Racquet Club, the Harbor Side Village is also close to the Resort's championship golf courses. These two- and three-bedroom layouts are well suited for golfers and other guests who want a convenient and comfortable place to relax after a day on the links, tennis court or beach.

DIRECTIONS:

From I-95

Go North or South on I-95 to Exit 289. Exit and go east approximately 2-1/2 miles on Palm Coast Parkway. You will see the toll bridge. DO NOT GO THROUGH THE TOLL BRIDGE. Turn right on Palm Harbor Parkway before toll bridge. Follow road to stop sign. Turn right at stop sign into Ocean Hammock Resort - Harborside Inn.

From the North or South on A1A looks for the directional signs TO I-95/ Palm Coast. At the 4-way stop turn right and go over the Hammock Dunes Bridge (No Toll coming West Bound). Once through the toll bride, get into the left lane and turn onto Palm Harbor Drive. Follow Palm Harbor Dr to 4-way stop sign. Turn right at stop, and follow road up to entrance of the Ocean Hammock Resort - Harborside Inn.
